We are dealing with a very original title, with pixel art graphics and elements borrowed from many titles, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Double Dragon and a little from the Rocky Balboa mythology.

The game costs 5 bucks and you can find it in App Store. You start as an amateur boxer trained by an old man, named Mick and with a romance with a girl, named Adrian. The game features retro graphics, square and it would have looked great on a Nintendo console 15 years ago, but look well on PC as well - click to play.

Lazy Bear Games offers here the chance to manage the daily schedule of an amateur boxer and the decision of his life, while we also have an unlocked skill tree. There are many references in this game from classic titles, like Fight Club and Street Fighter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rocky and many others.

Our boxer starts bankrupt and needs to take a job that will bring us money, but this will make us lose time. We will have a few vital statistics to monitor. We need to keep an eye on the clock, then on life, food, mood and energy. Then will come the three vital sports statistics: strength, endurance and speed.

They will increase when you exercise in the garage or at the gym, where you will have to pay 10 buck per session. At the end of each day a line will be drawn and you will lose some sporting points, so you must take great care what you will train for. You will have three approaches regarding this aspect that you can adopt from the skill tree: Tiger, Bear or Turtle. Tiger relies on agility, Bear on strength and Turtle needs resistance.

The fights are turn-based and very mathematical, counting the statistics of each fighter more than anything else. There is a percentage of chance and if you are, you will always win. It’s fascinating how many variable have cramped the producers in this title - see important data.

You always need to think in this game, considering that you need money, time and food, training and a good management of all these. The food usually means steaks that cost 20 bucks, and pizza that costs 9 bucks from the Indian supermarket.

The story of the game has evolved nice and surprisingly, there will be mobs, a magic pendant, mutant crocodiles and all sorts of other complications. This is a good game, one of the few that offers a casual strategic gaming experience - start your gaming experience.
